How our live karaoke band show works

How The Bandeoke Band turns your guests into the headline act.

Bandeoke is live band karaoke. Your guests scan the song list, choose a track and step up to front a high-energy live band. Behind the fun, we manage the host, running order, lyrics, screens and every changeover so it all feels effortless.

What guests do on the night

From QR code to lead singer. Here is exactly what happens.

Guests do not need an app, rehearsal or previous experience. Five clear steps take them from browsing songs on their phone to standing at the front of the band.

01
Scan the code

The QR code appears on our stage banners and screens. Guests open the full live-band song list on their phone without downloading an app.

02
Pick your song

Choose a big chorus, guilty pleasure or suspiciously well-rehearsed showstopper, type in your name and send it straight into our live running order.

03
Wait for your name

During the previous song, our screens show that you are up next while the host receives the same alert. That gives you just enough time to panic, prepare and find the stage.

04
The host calls you up

Our host introduces you, gets the room ready, checks that you can see the lyrics and creates the kind of entrance your performance may or may not deserve.

05
The band kicks in

The lyrics highlight in time with the musicians. You front a real live band while the host stays close enough to provide vocal help, moral support or a very necessary chorus.

What makes Bandeoke work

Everything working together while your guests steal the show.

Guests only see the fun. This is the system quietly keeping the queue, band, lyrics and room together.

01 · A live-ready song list

Every song is there because the band can make it fly.

Guests are not browsing a random karaoke catalogue. They choose from songs selected, arranged and prepared for a live Bandeoke band — big choruses, recognisable openings and tracks the room can join immediately.

02 · The running order
New singers appear instantly.

The system sends each choice into the live queue so the host can see who has joined, what they want to sing and who should be called next.

03 · The singing host
Every changeover has energy.

The host calls singers up, keeps the audience involved, fills any gap and provides vocal help before a nervous pause can become dead air.

04 · The live band
Real musicians follow real people.

The band counts the singer in, supports uncertain entrances and keeps the song driving even when the guest adds their own highly personal interpretation of the timing.

05 · The lyric system
The words stay locked to the band.

Lyrics move and highlight in real time across our screens, keeping the singer on track while the room can follow every chorus.

Before the event

Set the stage before anyone takes the mic.

Choose the band, guest experience and screen setup. We handle the practical details so the crowd only sees the fun.

01

Choose your Bandeoke band.

Start with the high-energy five-piece and add extra singers, sax, brass, percussion or more musicians for a bigger sound and stage presence.

02

Decide how guests join in.

Open the QR song list to everyone, line up a few confident singers, plan a duet or keep one surprise performance quietly under wraps.

03

Choose the screen experience.

Every booking includes our singer wedge screen. Add audience-facing screens, a raised rear screen, custom graphics or complete 4K live-video production.

04

Leave the practical bits to us.

We confirm the stage space, access, power, setup and production requirements so everything is ready before the first guest reaches for the microphone.

Choose the running order

More band, more singers or one enormous takeover.

Start with the band, open with guest singers or save the biggest voice for last. You choose the order and we keep the energy high throughout.
01

Live band set

Let the musicians open as a high-energy party band, fill the dance floor and give the room time to loosen up before anyone is handed a microphone.

02

Bandeoke takeover

Open the QR queue and move through as many guest singers as the performance time allows, with the host managing every introduction and changeover.

03

Planned spotlight

Place a chosen singer, surprise performance, group number or guest-of-honour song exactly where it will create the biggest reaction.

04

Full-room finale

Finish with one huge chorus led by a guest, the host or the whole band — especially useful when subtle endings are not really the point.

Musicians and singers

Choose the live karaoke band for your stage.

Start with a high-energy five-piece live karaoke band and scale the lineup around the room, audience and budget. Keep it tight and punchy, or add more vocals, instruments and visual impact.

More movement, bigger hooks and the kind of instrumental moments that make the live-band section feel immediately more premium.

+PERC

Add live percussion

Add multiple singers, horns, percussion and extra musicians for major parties, awards nights, company celebrations and larger stages.

How Bandeoke lands in the room

Same microphones. Completely different kind of chaos.

The system stays slick. The people grabbing the microphone are where every event becomes gloriously unpredictable.

Bandeoke gives every crowd a reason to stop watching and start joining in. Who sings first, when the queue opens and how big the final moment becomes are all part of the fun.

More than somebody holding a microphone

The host keeps the singers brave, the room loud and the show moving.

The live system tells the host when a new singer joins. From there, they control the pace, call each guest to the stage, win over the room and make every handover feel like the beginning of a high-energy live performance.

The ultimate Bandeoke production

Live camera Bandeoke, mixed in real time.

For larger productions, the singer is not only on stage. Our cameras, screens and live editor turn the whole performance into the room’s main event.

Camera oneFollow the band.

A handheld operator catches guitar solos, drum fills and the best movement on stage.

Camera twoStay on the singer.

A fixed shot captures every committed note, dramatic pause and look of immediate regret.

Camera threeCatch the crowd.

A roaming audience camera finds reactions, table singalongs and arms-around-shoulders choruses.

Live editorChoose the shot.

Our feeds arrive at our side-stage control position, where our live editor switches the action while the timed lyrics remain overlaid.

Between songs, our screens switch to custom artwork with your event branding, logo or custom message. When the next song begins, our live pictures and transparent lyrics take over again.
How it works FAQ

The sensible questions before the glorious decisions.

Useful answers before the QR code goes live and somebody unexpectedly volunteers for Bon Jovi.

Good singers welcome. Bad singers frequently more entertaining.
Can Bandeoke be the main entertainment for the whole night?

Yes. It can be a complete guest-singer show, a mix of live party-band sets and Bandeoke, or one shorter takeover inside a wider event. The balance and order are chosen around the experience you want.

What if nobody volunteers to sing first?

We can begin with a live-band set, arrange a confident first singer in advance or let the host open the singing and show everybody how it works. Once the room sees one guest having fun, the queue usually becomes much less shy.

Can guests sing duets or group songs?

Yes. Duets, bridesmaid songs, team performances, family numbers and full-room finales can all be worked into the running order where the chosen song and stage setup allow.

Can we see the song list before the event?

Yes. You can review the current live-band song list before the event, plan any important performances and point confident singers towards tracks that will start the night strongly.

How many guests can sing during Bandeoke?

It depends on the songs chosen, the length of the Bandeoke section and whether any larger group performances are planned. Changeovers are kept fast, and we can give you a realistic expectation once the performance time is agreed.

Do guests need to be good singers?

No. The band supports the singer, the host can provide cues or take a chorus, and the rest of the room usually supplies more than enough enthusiastic backing vocals.

Do you provide the screens and technical setup?

Yes. We supply, install and operate every lyric screen and screen package included in your booking, along with the QR song system, synced lyric playback and show control. The exact sound, lighting, stage, power and access requirements are confirmed for your chosen lineup and room.

How much space and setup time do you need?

That depends on the number of musicians and whether you choose the singer screen, audience screens or full live-camera production. Once the lineup and production are selected, we confirm the stage footprint, access, power and setup schedule clearly in advance.

Choose the lineup. Shape the show. Hand over the microphone.

Tell us the date, location, guest numbers and the kind of night you want. We will recommend the lineup, running order and screen setup that make the biggest impact.
